Q. I want to change the upper and lower limit positions

If you want to change the opening/closing positions to adjust for sheet sagging or changes in the opening height.

※Operation methods differ depending on the controller.

Position Setting Points

※When the shutter hits something, please cancel the photoelectric tube setting.
※Some models do not have a photoelectric tube cancellation setting function, so please check the documentation.
※If the cancellation position is shifted, the sheet may wind up (reverse ascent) during descent.

KUB Controller Position Setting Method

1. Switch to position setting mode

   1. While pressing “Stop”, press and hold “Up” + “Down” + “Manual/Auto” + “Opening Height Setting” for 3 seconds or more. A “beep” alarm will sound, and the lamps will all light up when the position setting mode is switched.
      
   2. It will move slowly while pressing “Up” and “Down”, and it will stop at that position when you release your hand.
      The operating speed will increase if you keep pressing for 3 seconds or more.

2. Set the upper limit stop position (setting the fully open position)

   1. Press “Up” while pressing “Stop” at the position where you want to set the upper limit.
   2. Setting is complete when the “Up” lamp lights up.
      

3. Set the lower limit stop position (setting the fully closed position)

   1. Press “Down” while pressing “Stop” at the position where you want to set the lower limit.
   2. Setting is complete when the “Down” lamp lights up.
      

4. Set the opening height stop position (setting the position to stop in opening height operation)

   1. Press “Opening Height Setting” while pressing “Stop” at the position where you want to set the opening height.
   2. Setting is complete when the “Opening Height Setting” lamp lights up.
      
      ※If you do not use opening height operation, be sure to set the opening height at the upper limit position.

5. Set the photoelectric tube cancellation position
   ※The photoelectric tube cancellation function may not be settable depending on the ROM version.

   1. Set the photoelectric tube sensor 1 cancellation position.

      1. Press “Up” while pressing “Manual/Auto” at the position you want to cancel.
      2. Setting is complete when the “Manual” lamp lights up.
         

   2. Set the photoelectric tube sensor 2 cancellation position.

      1. Press “Stop” while pressing “Manual/Auto” at the position you want to cancel.
      2. Setting is complete when the “Manual” lamp lights up.

3.  Set the photoelectric tube sensor 3 cancellation position.
    1.  Press "Down" while pressing "Manual/Auto" at the position you want to cancel.
    2.  Setting is complete when the "Auto" lamp lights up.

4.  Set the photoelectric tube sensor 4 cancellation position.
    1.  Press "Opening Height Setting" while pressing "Manual/Auto" at the position you want to cancel.
    2.  Setting is complete when the "Auto" lamp lights up.

6. Switch to normal operation mode

   1. While pressing “Stop”, press and hold “Up” + “Down” + “Manual/Auto” + “Opening Height Setting” for 3 seconds or more. A “beep” alarm will sound, and the normal operation mode is switched.
      

7. Check the operation
   Make sure that the shutter stops at the set position and check the operation.
