# Please reset the cancellation position of the photoelectric sensor

The photoelectric sensor is mounted at a height of about 80cm from the floor of the frame.
This sensor may react, and the shutter may not come down.
Please reset the cancellation position of the photoelectric sensor.

## What is the "cancellation position" of the photoelectric sensor?

Photoelectric sensors are attached to the left and right sides of the frame, and if their mutual light is blocked, the shutter stops descending and rises.
The reason the shutter doesn't come down during passage is because of this sensor.
The cancellation position of the photoelectric sensor is a function that turns off the sensor so that the shutter does not stop descending and rise even if the sensor is blocked by a sheet.

### If the cancellation position is set lower than the photoelectric sensor

The sheet blocks the photoelectric sensor due to vibration or wind while descending, and the sheet rises before it reaches the cancellation position.

### If the cancellation position is set higher than the photoelectric sensor

Since the sheet is in the OFF state even if it blocks the photoelectric sensor, it descends to the lower limit position.

## Notes when setting the cancellation position of the photoelectric sensor

 If the cancellation position of the photoelectric sensor is too high, the shutter may descend during passage. Please set it at a position about 10 cm above the photoelectric sensor.

# How to set the position of the KUD controller

1.  Switch to position setting mode
    1.  Press and hold "stop" while pressing "up" + "down" + "manu/auto" + "H set" for 3 seconds or more. An alarm sound will beep, and the position setting mode will switch.
    2.  "H-Adj" will be displayed on the LCD screen during position setting mode.

    3.  It moves slowly while pressing "up" and "down", and stops at that position when you release your hand.
       The operating speed will increase if you continue to press for 3 seconds or more.

2.  Set the upper limit stop position (setting the fully open position)
    1.  Press "Enter" while pressing "up" at the position where you want to set the upper limit.
    2.  When "T-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

3.  Set the lower limit stop position (setting the fully closed position)
    1.  Press "Enter" while pressing "down" at the position where you want to set the lower limit.
    2.  When "8-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

4.  Set the opening height stop position (setting the position to stop at during opening height operation)
    1.  Press "Enter" while pressing "H set" at the position where you want to set ECO.
    2.  When "H-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

    ※ If you are not using opening height operation, be sure to set the opening height at the upper limit position.

5.  Set the photoelectric sensor cancellation position
    1.  Set the photoelectric sensor 1 cancellation position.
        1.  Press "manu/auto" while pressing "up" at the position you want to cancel.
        2.  When "51-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

    2.  Set the photoelectric sensor 2 cancellation position.
        1.  Press "manu/auto" while pressing "stop" at the position you want to cancel.
        2.  When "52-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

    3.  Set the photoelectric sensor 3 cancellation position.
        1.  Press "manu/auto" while pressing "down" at the position you want to cancel.
        2.  When "53-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

    4.  Set the photoelectric sensor 4 cancellation position.
        1.  Press "manu/auto" while pressing "H set" at the position you want to cancel.
        2.  When "54-5ET" is displayed on the LCD screen, the setting is complete.

6.  Switch to normal operation mode
    1.  Press and hold "stop" while pressing "up" + "down" + "manu/auto" + "H set" for 3 seconds or more. An alarm sound will beep, and the normal operation mode will switch.

7.  Check the operation
